    St John's Anglican Church Balmain

    Who we are

    We are a community of faith, living in God's love through Jesus Christ.  Our calling is to develop and share this relationship through worship and service to our neighbours.  We will achieve this by:

    • Being open to God's spirit and love;
    • Welcoming diversity and fostering acceptance of all people;
    • Serving others as Jesus served

    We believe in openess to God's spirit, grace, forgiveness, love and mercy.  We value non-judgmental acceptance of all people through unconditional friendship.  We promote spiritual enrichment through, study, prayer and sacramental worship.  We practice an open theology of word and sacrament based on scripture, reason and tradition.
